In 2024, I co-coordinated the annual Utah Law Alumni Awards at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, including re-imagining and re-designing the event to make it more engaging, increase attendance, and align with industry standards. Compared to the 2023 event, event attendance in 2024 increased by 18 percent with over 300 guests present.
I played a key role in ideating the change in format from a formal dinner to a shortened ceremony with extended reception. Additionally, I oversaw the creation of graphic design elements for the event including marketing materials, event signage, ceremony programs, and sponsorship recognition, assisted in the development of awards ceremony content, coordinated award winner acceptance videos, coordinated the design and ordering of awards, oversaw VIP seating assignments, and assisted with coordination of other event logistics.
Following a 45-minute awards ceremony, guests were invited to explore the College of Law building and enjoy the following opportunities:
- Sunset Toast to the Class of 2024
- Alumni Class Photo Walk
- Group Photo Opportunities
- Mix & Mingle Lounge
- Digital Photo Booth
- Pool, Ping Pong, & Foosball
- Utah Law Jeopardy
- Karaoke
